When you mention someone using their email address in a Jira work item’s comment or description, and that person does not yet have access to your Jira site, Jira will now automatically invite and tag them if the invite is successful. This helps teams include new collaborators in relevant conversations right away. To get started with this change: In a work item’s comment or description, mention a user by entering their email address if they do not already exist in your Jira site.
